Westonbirt Arboretum

Had a lovely trip out to Westonbirt Arboretum known in the autumn for it's incredible display of colourful tree's.

It is home to 2500 different types of trees and has a 2000 year old Lime tree.

Alongside that they have a canopy walk where you are up at the top of the trees which is great.  For the kids a Gruffolo sculptures bear statue which is cute along with other amazing wood sculptures.

There are many different walks you can do around the woods, some areas are dog friendly. Wow who'd have thought there were so many different breeds of dogs!

They had a small group of talented people working with wood and willow on the day to show what you can make.

It is also so great to get down close to nature and see what's on the forest floor.

So if you in the area I recommend taking a trip.
