The Malvern Hills

Day two of trips out.

Today was a 7.5 mile round trip walk along the Malvern Hills which spans a total of 10 miles one way along the ridges.

The hills goes through Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and has spectacular views over Gloucestershire to one side and over to the mountain ranges of Wales and the Wye Valley on the other.

Going in May were treated to an amazing spectical of thousands of Bluebells both in the woods and on the hillside.

When walking along the range in the distance there appeared a whole group of paragliders. Wow what a spectal!  They flew so high it was incredible. Sadly they were too far away to catch the big group, but I did get a video of a couple of them when we reached the peak they were launching from.

On the way back to the car park at British Camp Car park, there was a kiosk selling refreshments. Wow the selection of ice cream was great.

So like Lineover Woods which I discovered this year, I'm sure these hills will have a revisit and will look different again next time.
