Hope and Faith Socks
So during the month of November I am taking part in a knitting challenge for Bone Cancer Research Trust.
Having been through Cancer myself if I can combine my passion for knitting and helping a Cancer charity I will.
The Research Trust are doing invaluable work with not only research but support for people who have been diagnosed with Bone Cancer.
I first found out about the knitting challenge through a Facebook group which currently has over 5000 members, with people pledging to knit for 30 minutes a day doing all sorts of things. Some having never knitted and others are very experienced.
For me personally I have set up a Just Giving Page for my fund raising and have designed a beautiful sock pattern that I will be working on during the month when I shall see how many of the socks I can make.
The pattern will be for sale in the next couple of weeks and after November I will continue to contribute 50% of the sale of the pattern to the charity.
So Please no matter how small, if you can contribute to my challenge I would really appreciate it.
