Stan's adventures. Cotswold Farm Park. Day One

So it's been over a year since we have taken Stan out.

I won't lie I was sceptical about sleeping, the cold and putting up the awning.

I thought I'd share the adventure with you all.

Let's first appreciate the sound of a whistling kettle, I'll never get bored of the sound!

So this is only the second time we have set up the awning and we did it in about 40 minutes which is great as we're getting the hang of it.

So now we are all ready to, oh just relax!

We had made food for the evening, but decided to take advantage of the on site cafe, and OK for me it was quite expensive, but Wow what a pizza just delicious!!

Naomi had jalapeños on her, omg it literally burnt my mouth. Happily I had Hawaiian with extra olives, just mmmmmm.

It was amazing how quickly the temperature dropped in the evening to about 2° wow the air was COLD!

So we brought the camp chairs in and set up for the evening.

Then off for a last loo stop, (I'd just like to say the toilet block facilities are so impressive) .  They were not here when I came years ago with my Son.  Also we are very grateful as we have only just come out of lockdown that they have opened these facilities, the shower blocks are currently still out of use.

On the way back there was no need for a torch with such a full moon.

So now it's time for nights out, Day Two tommorw where we visit the Adams farm.

Night night.
