Initially on setting out it didn't look too bad and the scenary from the lower level with the stream and the lovely bracken and Foxglove was so pretty.
Even though the weather was not the best (well in this small area) it was half term and there were certainly lots of people doing the walk, including these guys, who for scale where only a few feet away from me, to show just how bad the visibility was.
I then drove the scenic drive to Bryndu campsite. I will have stayed at four times now, as it is such a lovely site, not to large.
The owners, who still remeber me from my first trip, when I stayed having met up with a knitting friend Kate Selene. She had kindly dyed up yarn for a shawl I had designed Take Time Shawl. I have since made it in three different colourways myself.
I would say it is the most well kept and prettiest site I have stayed at (and I have stayed at quite a few now). The little shop they have also stocks all locally made produce aswell which is very tasty.
One thing I have never done when staying here is taken a walk from the campsite, which you can do. So after getting advice on which was the best route I headed a short distance up the hill that over looks the site.
Goodness what a view, it was just spectacular and I had it all to myself!! I could see over to Pen Y Fan (which was still in cloud!), meanwhile I sat in glourious sun.
I now have a few more trips lined up and look forward to sharing more adventures very soon.
