It is all about cars

For the second part of my amazing weekend me and H went to Prescott Hill Climb which I never relaised was so close to us based in the lovely Cotswolds.

It is a mixture of classic and very current cars which are very loud and very fast!!

So if you don't like cars look away!

To start with we didn't even get to the track before we saw amaxing cars just in the car park.

Then we found the track and all the different áreas to view the time trials from.

This is my favourite colour scheme.
I loved this exhaust.
I love the track, goodness these cars were noisee!!
This was my son's favourite car.

What I really enjoyed about the whole day was the fact that you could go around all areas and see everything.  Well worth a trip.

Karate at the beach

My son has been doing karate for a few years now and this weekend they had a training session at Brean Down where we spent our holidays.

It was so great seeing so many folks training.

Sunny afternoon cycle.

H was at a lose end this afternoon so we decided to head off for a cycle to our local big park.

As it turned out it was great fun even though it was very warm and neither of us really enjoy loads of sun, so by cycling we had the benefit of the breeze on the bike.

We did some paddling, eating ice lollies, watching folks in rowing boats.  Then crossed over to the well known landmark of the pump rooms and smaller lake. We also went too pets corner.

On our way home we went to a new cycle shop called Evans bikes, i could not believe they had a bike for over £4,500!!

We then headed for home and i spotted a pink Thunderbirds car in the carpark.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Trip to the car boot.

Yesturday i spent a few hours tidying the garden in anticipation of today's trip to the local car boot.

We had a really enjoyable look round.  Their were so many things for sale ranging from antiques, to fruit and veg, second hand books and clothes let, lovely cake stand were we got a Lemon Drizzle cake for Mrs P.

But i had the plant stalls in my sights.  But before i finalised which one i came across this lovely pot.

Unfortunately i didn't have enough money for this and plants but Master H came to the rescue and bought it for me.

So for £15 wirh the help of the stall holder i purcahsed well over 20 plants all of which should be hardy or self seeding sos will carry on year after year.

All things pink and beautiful.

Today i had the fun of a day off work so dogs have been treated to two walks before lunch!

So we headed off to my favourite walk for the second trip sporting my favourite pink trainers.

One of the reasons i love this walk so much is due to the amazingly pretty gardens, boy did they show a variety from lupins, roses, honeysuckle, carnations and a mass of varid colours of peony's which i think where my favourite.

To end the "pink" story i have just completed my second Lavender bag, this time for a friend who kindly designed my Textureknit banner on this page and my Etsy site as a thank you. I'm loving the colours so much i think i will have to make more.

Pimp the bag.

Last week on Facebook I was inspired by an image that a fellow bag owner had done.

So for the very exciting event in September in Skipton for those that do not know I have "pimped" my Yarndale bag.

Her she is Betsy the bag.

Love to read your comments on what you think of Betsy.

Hamza Yassin and my knitwear

So to say I am a huge fan of Hamza Yassin is a massive understatement. I had the privilege to meet Hamza earlier this year at the Hay Book F...
