Preston-On-Wye, Hereford

Last weekend my partner and I had the joy of a long weekend away with the two dogs as little man was off on an awesome adventure to France.

We rented the most beautiful cottage which had everything and more you could ever need.  It was surrounded by countryside and half an hour from Hay-on-Wye the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains which has part of the Offas Dyke walk.

So here is a photographic imagery of our weekend.

For those who follow the progress of our puppy this is some nice shots to show just how big his paws are and how big he is getting, but oh so cuddly.

I managed to get a little crafting of the crotchet variety in with my never ending blanket!  I also could not resist taking a picture of some Welsh fleece blowing in the wind!

On the way back from our weekend we stopped off at a lovely walk in the Forest of Dean which is only a short trip from home.

Finally for those that know my family will know that we have been blessed with three truely and much loved dogs, with the fairly recent addition of Indie in October of last year.

However sadly our oldest and dearest dog Ebony passed away and is now watching over us have the time of her life with all her other doggy friends.  R.I.P. Ebony we love you dearly xxx

  2. Beautiful photographs as ever, I am glad you had a fantastic break, I did notice somebody was missing and was very sad when I got to the end of the post. Ebony was a beautiful looking old girl, I know how sad and painful it is to lose a beloved furry one. Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. xxx
